Just got a PS3...

... and I want to subsequently kick Sony in the gonads.

Seriously, composite connectors for the "World's Most Advanced Gaming System"??? ~X(

I was given the system as an awesome groomsman gift at a wedding, but I can't even play it (as it should be played) until the component cables I just ordered come in. I'm not irked that I had to shell out $7 for cables (though some may call that petty), but really by the fact that I have to wait now.

Ok, off my soapbox. I know everyone who's bought a PS3 before me has had the same experience and gripes, it's just that I never knew/noticed the uproar back in 2006 when this little tidbit was first announced.

I now await delivery of my shiny new composite a/v cables to go with my purty PS3.
